NHAI Will Consider Building Second Noida Expressway
The Noida Expressway has been a critical artery in the Delhi-NCR region, easing traffic between Noida and Greater Noida. But with soaring vehicular load and rapid regional development, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recently confirmed that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) would seriously consider building a second Noida Expressway—a move set to redefine connectivity in the area. Why a Second Noida Expressway? The existing Noida Expressway stretches roughly 25 kilometres, handling nearly five lakh vehicles daily. With two lakh vehicles entering via DND Flyway and another lakh each via Chilla border and Kalindi Kunj, congestion has become a pressing issue.
